We wanted to reach out about an important cyber security issue that you may need to take action on. Major bugs were found last week in Apple’s Quicktime video applicaiton, which may need your attention.
This software usually comes bundled with iTunes or could have been downloaded by itself, so chances are if you own an iOS device you have it. Two new vulnerabilities were found in this application that could pose huge risks to business and personal computers.
TrendMico along with the Dept of Homeland security have issued warnings within the last week and are urging PC owners to remove this program as quickly as possible (for PC’s only and does not include Macs).
